Mardi Gras Parade

Mardi Gras 2015 and Beyond

Baton Rouge is not the most known place in Louisiana for Mardi Gras parades, that would be New Orleans.  But, Baton Rouge has a tradition of parades during the  Mardi Gras season.

There are a number of parades that include the Krewe of Artemis, Krewe of Orion, Krewe Mystique de la Capitale, Mardi Gras Mambo, and the most famous one in the Capital City is the Spanish Town Parade.

Each of these parades takes place on different dates but have a connection with Mardi Gras and the Louisiana tradition.  You can visit the Downtown Development District page for additional information on each of these parades, dates, and locations.

These parades are only a few of the events that take place annually in Baton Rouge.  Over the next few articles we will look at the different events that take place along with the groups that help to organize them.

In addition we will look at some of the businesses that make Baton Rouge beautiful.  Once a month we will highlight a different business sector and examine their industry and the best players in the city.  We will start with massage therapy since the benefits of a massage can not be overlooked and everyone needs to experience the stress relieving power of a massage.

We will look to our readers to suggest business sectors you will like to see us talk about and if you know businesses that we should highlight, send us a message.  We want to make sure you provide you the best possible information you can receive about events, businesses, food and fun in the Capital City.

If any part of these articles intrigue you, leave a comment and let us know how we are doing so we can enhance our articles and make them more relevant to our readers.
